This week I mostly used ink as a painting medium. Again it was all about experimentation.
The "Flower" image is a combination of using painted ink over a mask. I first applied Molotow grafx masking liquid (to dry paper) over areas I wanted to keep white. Then ink was painted onto wet paper - to allow for bleeding of the colour. The "Stuffed pepper" image is mainly heavily layered ink with the use of pigment liner pens. Ink was applied, and then quickly dried with a hairdryer before another layer was added. I worked with a damp brush to allow for some blending of colour.
