This piece was part of the Sixth Annual Carded show at Hot Art Wet City gallery (Vancouver, BC), and A Place for Creation's 2015 Showoff Calendar (month of November). This is an example of a Zentangle style of drawing. The image started with a watercolor and ink drawing. I then combined the drawing of the flames with a photograph of a fish. I digitally colour-corrected all components so they were more cohesive as a composition. I also submitted the final image to Illustration Friday's Sizzle theme.
